Antique Radio Price Guide

" These prices are primarily my opinion. They are current prices based on more than one source. Although I will try to update as often as I could, I can not guarantee them. They will reflect todays market prices though, and will be adjusted on a regular basis. Also, keep in mind the condition of the item(s). Condition almost always dictates the price. It is the most important part of pricing. I can only give you a guide, by giving you an average price range, and a little information. You have to ultimately make the decision based on these conditions. Other aspects apply as well when pricing. Ask yourself a couple questions first. Is it complete? (all the knobs, hardware, tubes, and shields in place?). Does it work? Is there any nicks, scratches, cracks, or damaged veneer? Is the finish original? Just use common sense. For example we have radio ABC, I rate it as a $50.00 radio. However it has a knob missing, a couple tubes, and some nicks. This might bring the value down to $35.00. Lets take the same radio, and say it works, but has a small scratch, and has an excellent original finish with nothing missing. It may be worth more than $75.00. In any case remember, "use common sense". One other thing, I would appreciate your help and feedback. E-mail me with models you would like to see listed. Give me a little information about the item(s), and the year it was made. Or if you purchased one recently at a different price than listed. I will try to get them listed. I will start off on a small scale and continue listing more from there, so be patient. Also if you find a mistake or something seems a bit out of whack, let me know. It's hard to fix a mistake if you don't know you made one. "
